ZAYIN ADAR CHEVRA KADISHA DINNER
The 7th of Adar (Zayin Adar) is the day Moshe Rabbeinu was born and the day on
which he died 120 years later. G-d alone did the work typically performed by
members of the Chevra Kadisha. It has become the custom of chevrai kadisha
worldwide to mark the yahrzeit of Moshe Rabbeinu by gathering for a festive meal
in which the entire community participates.
