​Understanding The Chevra Kadisha Tahara Minhagim

​The following is a shiur discussing tahara practices, was given by Rabbi Michoel Frank to the Chevra Kadisha of Greater Washington. The shiur goes through the meaning of the various minhagim practiced by the Chevra Kadisha during the performance of a tahara as well as various related shailos that may arise.
Rabbi Frank is the Mora d'Asra of Kehilas Ohr HaTorah in Kemp Mill Maryland. In addition, he is an active member of the Chevra Kadisha of Greater Washington. The Vaad Harabanim of Greater Washington has designated Rabbi Frank as the local posek for Chevra Kadisha related shailos.
